Matan Steinfeld

With over 17 years of experience in the industry, Matan has worn a variety of hats, from the oh so glamorous busser in New Orleans (where smoking indoors was still very much en vogue!), to the more intriguing position of distiller's assistant. He delved into the intricacies of rum and gin production before transitioning to distributor and supplier sales in New York, where he discovered his passions for education and travel. Matan's thirst for knowledge led him to achieve several prestigious certifications, including his WSET Level III in wine and CSS for spirits. His love for exploration was ignited by his opportunities to visit distilleries and wineries all over the world. After one last role representing Diageo brought him back to Portland, Oregon, he now owns Bull in China, a barware company dedicated to crafting better bar tools for industry pros.
